Primary Engineering & Construction is gearing up for the 6th Annual Ride for Flights Poker Run in support of STARS Air Ambulance, and you’re invited to be part of the action.
Taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, this annual event brings together motorcycle enthusiasts, community supporters, friends, family, and local businesses to raise critical funds for STARS and the life-saving work they do across Western Canada.
STARS provides emergency medical transport and critical care to patients in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities, helping people when every second counts. Through Ride for Flights, participants can help support this vital service while enjoying a day on the road with fellow riders.
The day kicks off with registration at 9:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM departure for a scenic poker run through the beautiful backroads of Northwest Cochrane. Riders will return for an afternoon of food, prizes, fundraising activities, and community celebration, featuring a live performance by Nomad Kings. Be sure to follow them on Instagram at @nomadkings.band. The event then wraps up with dinner to close out the day.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Visitor tickets are available for a $15 donation and include a complimentary breakfast or BBQ lunch, plus access to the auction, prize draws, and 50/50 raffle.
