Best 90’s Soundtrack

I miss soundtracks. Movies from the 70-90’s always seemed to have the best music. Sometimes it was new music, other times there were covers, but there were always songs you’d had forgotten about.

The reason I bring this is up is because of The Crow remake coming out later this year. The original Crow soundtrack was one of the best from the 90’s. Songs from Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against The Machine, and so many more.

Whenever you get talking about soundtracks from the 90’s there are always two others that instantly come to mind for me.

The Singles soundtrack stands as one of the best of all time, IMO. Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, Mother Love Bone, Smashing Pumpkins, and a few other big names from the 90’s.

The other soundtrack that rivals both of these is one that might surprise you.

This is a quintessential album for anyone that grew up listening to 90’s alternative, hip-hop, and rock. It has everything! Covers, songs you may have forgotten about, and some brand new stuff!

Mock me all you want, I can handle it! As a guy that loves hard rock, I get it. It would likely also surprise you that I think the Garden State soundtrack is even better! But it’s from the early 2000’s, so I can’t include it here!
