The Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to receive the “Global Icon” award at the 2022 MTV VMAs. The band opted to have the legendary comedy duo of Cheech & Chong present their award to them. The Chilis will also perform at the awards show.

This might be reason enough to actually watch the awards this year!
