It started with big companies like Facebook and TikTok backing out, and now SXSW set to go down in Austin, Texas next week, has officially been cancelled. The reason for this is the Coronavirus, and ultimately needing to keep the community safe, and mitigate the spreading of the virus, and with artists, speakers, and attendees coming from all over the globe, it just didn’t make sense to continue. This is added to a fairly big list of festivals, tours, and even the release of the new James Bond film. Read more on the SXSW cancellation here.
