Foster The People came out with their breakout, Pumped Up Kicks, almost a decade ago – but now Mark Foster feels the song should be retired. Despite fans still chanting “Pumped Up Kicks” at shows when Foster The People don’t play it. However, Mark isn’t doing this to upset fans, he has valid reasons for wanting to end the track being played at every show…particularly because it is about gun violence.
