Less than a year after their last album Thank You For Today released, Death Cab For Cutie is delivering new music, but it’s gonna be a little different. This isn’t a full album, but an EP consisting of “five new tracks that share a similar conception but different births” called The Blue EP.
THE BLUE EP is out September 6th. Listen to "Kids in '99" now: https://t.co/2u9JntQSUL

With the announcement they also hit us with a new song, “Kids In 99” which describes a gas pipeline that exploded in Bellingham, Washinton killing 3 kids. Bit of a somber theme for what sounds like a pretty upbeat tune.
The Blue EP releases September 6th.
