There was a fire in 2008 at Universal Studios, and now artists are speaking out about what may have been lost – reportedly it’s 500,000 master recordings, including Nirvana’s Nevermind which Krist Novoselic said are believed to be “gone forever” – you can read more of this at Consequence which also include statements from REM, and Questlove in regards to their recordings.
