We were all kinda taken off guard when we found out that Iggy Pop was gonna team up with Josh Homme for a new project called Post Pop Depression! The first song Gardenia, was all kinds of weird/rad and it really set the tone for what we were gonna be hearing from the two.
Late last night, they threw out another song from the record (due out March 18th) called “Sunday” that is a super long funk, rock, music blob that’s as cool as it is confusing.
Weird, but rad? All these songs are awesome, but Iggy Pop is really starting to sound like Jason Segal singing Vampire songs in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Once heard, it can’t be UN-heard.
