Austin Texas notorius festival South By South West announced their first round of band’s to be part of this year’s festival…and I’m not overly excited (yet)

It’s not uncommon for festivals to save the big names for later to drive pass sales (infact, that happens all the time) but South By has always been top notch for solid line ups…even the baby bands.

While I might be forced to shut my yap once the full line up is announced, here are some bands that might excite you scheduled to play at SXSW 2009

Akron Family, Asobi Seksu, Ben Kweller, Buck 65, Crystal Method, Explosions in the Sky, Kid Sister, Mika Miko, Peter Bjorn and John, Primal Scream, Sage Francis, St. Vincent, White Lies.
